Delft Barber's Bowl

11 ¾”d x 9” h

A scarce ribbed spiked oval barber’s bowl, made by Jan Dextra at the Greek A factory during his short reign. The decoration uses flowered reserved on a blue cracked ice ground. The central reserve has a kakiamon influenced basket of flowers. The decoration is further enhanced by flowers trailing the underside rim. (The left corner of the neck opening has broken off and been professionally and invisibly reattached.
